Autumn wishlist

Hi everyone,
This post is going to be my autumn wishlist post! I love autumn, I think its such a lovely season... Everything gets all warm and snuggly and the nights start to get darker. Last night I lit all my lovely yankee candles and made fajtas and had a lovely night in all snuggled up in my onesie. It was perfect!
Another thing I LOVE about Autumn is all the lovely clothes and makeup, im particularly loving tartan this year.. So i'm going to write a wishlist of all the things i'm hoping to pick up this season. I start my new job on monday and I will be getting paid with my previous jobs Tomorrow and on the 15th, which means I have an excuse to treat myself to lots of goodies ;)

Burgundy Short Fur Hood ParkaI really like this coat I think it just looks so lovely and warm and it is really appealing to me! I have to be honest I do have a slight obsession with parka's and seeing this burgundy one got my really excited!! Plus I think burgundy is a lovely autumny colour (is autumny a word, hmm..) I also like how this coat could be worn as casual wear and also work wear! It will keep me lovely and warm in the cold weather we are having recently. Espessialy since in the icy weather conditions I think  i'll be walking to work rather than driving..
This coat is from miss selfridge and it is £69.99, it is a little bit pricey but I think it is worth it.
I have already tried this coat on in the shop and I have fallen in love with it so I think it will be the first thing I will purchase off my wishlist.

Black fur concealed wedges  I think that these shoes are so cute!! Whilst browsing on the Dorathy perkins website I saw these and I instantly thought "SHOES I NEED TO HAVE YOU" They will go with lots of outfits that I have planned to buy and I think they will look great with Jeans, dresses, skirts, anything really.. Another thing I really like about these boots is their affordable price tag! They're only £35! I bought a pair of boots from Dorathy Perkins around 2 years ago and they're still going strong now so I know that they are most likely going to be good quality shoes! I'm going to order these shoes near the end of this month and see if they have any more colours come in! These would look great in burgundy!! :)

Black and white stitch beanie                Also from Dorathy perkins that I really liked was this hat. I must admit I usually go for all the cute hats with the animal faces on them but this year I am going to attempt to break that habit (only in work, I'll still buy them sneakily for out of work :P) This hat is £12, I'm quite happy with that price! I think this hat would look really nice with jeans, a jumper and some furry boots! Maybe the ones above :P

Black Pattern (Black) Black Foil Aztec Print Leggings | 296294509 | New Look   I am really drawn to these leggings!! I think the pattern on them is really eye catching. I love leggings because you can dress them up or dress them down depending on what top and shoes you wear with them. I am planning on wearing some comfy over-sized jumpers with them. I think these will be perfect leggings to do some Christmas shopping in. These are from new-look and they are £14.99!

Black Pattern (Black) Black Tapestry Floral Low Heel Chelsea Boots | 290559809 | New Look  Another thing which I REALLY like from new look are these cute little boots. I really like the pattern on these and I think they will look lovely with dresses/skirts with thick black tights. I also like how these boots have a little bit of a heel on them. I often find that I walk better and taller when I wear boots/shoes with a little bit of a heel. I will be mainly wearing these in work I think. Maybe with a plain black dress and pretty cardigan...hmm.. These boots are £19.99, I'm more than happy with that price tag!

I love this skirt!! I tried it on in the river island shop when I went shopping with my FiancĂ© the other day! I wish I had bought it that day but they didn't have my size and were waiting for new stock, the one I tried on was a tad too loose.. Whilst getting the picture off the website for this post I noticed they had my size, I might just have to make a sneaky order ;) oops!!

ASOS Playsuit in Twill  These dungarees I find soooo cute!! I love the mustard colour on them. I also like the way that the girl is wearing them in the picture with the shirt underneath! I have a couple of pairs of dungarees that I bought in the summer but I think these are a lovely autumn colour! These dungarees are from Asos and they are £35.

Image 1 of Love Skater Dress in Baroque Print   Image 3 of Love Skater Dress in Baroque Print
This dress is also from Asos. I think this dress would look lovely for work, going out for a meal or going shopping during the next couple of months. I really like the colour on the dress which is like a teal, I think the pattern against it looks lovely. I can't wait to add this dress to the million and one other dresses I already own (I have a dress problem, haha!)  I'm really excited to buy this!! It's £38, which I think it is a little bit pricey, but It certainly looks worth it to me! :)

Thank-you everyone for reading my wish-list. I'm going on a shopping trip tomorrow so there will be a haul coming up :) I was also thinking about doing a look book post because I really enjoy reading them so I'm thinking about doing one of my own.
Has anyone done a wish-list? or a haul recently? I would love to have a look! :) Please feel free to leave any blog links below, I'd love to have a nose!

My uncle's wedding

Hey everyone :)
Today's post is going to be a life style post because I have had a briliant weekend and I wanted to share it with everyone.
This weekend was my Uncle's wedding. It has come around so quick!! He proposed to my Auntie last year but it only seems like last week.
The wedding was in a beautiful place called Bryn Meadows :) they had the service and the reception here. It was the most stunning wedding I have ever been too!
My Auntie should really be a wedding planner, she thought of EVERYTHING. Even down to little gifts, the women all had yankee candle favours and the men had 2 thorntons chocolates, so lovely!!

The Gorgeous little Yankee candle wedding favours!!
After looking for a dress in LOADS of different shops in LOADS of different places I finally found one that I liked.
It is from Debenhams and the designer is Julien Mcdonald, I also had my shoes from Debenhams. My bag I bought last year from prom but I used it again for the wedding because it was in perfect condition and looked lovely with my dress I think :)
I really like my dress because I think the style of it really suited my figure. I got this dress in a size 16 but i probably could of got a 14 if it was in stock because I think the Julien Mcdonald sizes are really generous! My favourite part of this dress is the jewelled belt around the middle, I think it looks so nice next to the red colour.

My outfit :)
Nathan (my uncle, the Groom) Got ready in our house on the day of the wedding. He looked really smart! I even managed to get him to have a picture with his pre-wedding nerves!

It's time for a catch up..

Hello everyone, I am back.
I am so sorry that I have not blogged in quite literally months. My last blog post was in January, which is shocking!!
I thought that my first post to celebrate my return back to the blogging world would just be a life post to tell you what has changed since my last post.

Okay well first things first.. I have a new job. I really love my job as working in care and support but I think it is time for me to have a bit of a change. I really love working with people and enjoy speaking to new people (one of the reasons why I made this blog.) My new job is working for the phone company EE (Everything Everywhere) I'm going to be working in the call centre/ So if anyone happens to phone up, you may be directed to me! :)
I was thrilled to get this job as my Fiance also works for the company so we will be working together, maybe having some friendly competition in sales :) Haha!

Another thing that has changed in my life is; I've got a pug puppy!! Im actually like the crazy pug lady, I LOVE HER!! She is adorable! :) She is now 4 months old and is loving being pampered and spoiled by me and my family. I have a little sister who is 2 and she loves playing with her and taking her on walks :)

MY GORGEOUS LITTLE PUPPY.

Since my last post I turned 19. I loved my birthday! I celebrated in a couple of different ways.
With my family - I went for a ladies day. I had an afternoon tea. I felt so posh! We went to the Angel Hotel in Abergavenny. We went for the afternoon tea which champagne and it was delisious!
With my boyfriend - We went for a meal in Frankie and Bennies and to the cinema which was lovely!
With my friends - I had a couple of friends come round to my house for a party. Where we enjoyed a girly night gossiping over a few drinks and a chinese! Yum. I had a brilliant birthday weekend :)
My lovely afternoon tea with my family :)

So that pretty much sums up my last few months. I have lots coming up to look forward to!!
My uncles wedding which is the 28th September (this saturday, eeeeek)
My first day at work on the 7th October
My engagement party on the 25th October :)

Thank-you everyone for reading!! I have lots more posts planned and lots of beauty reviews to share with you :)
Please feel free to leave comments and links to blogs below :) I'd love to have a nose at what other people are doing :)

Lush soap review

Hi everyone, I am keeping up with my new years resolution so here I am writing another post :)
This post is going to be a review on quite literally the best soap/massage bar ever!
I LOVE this product. I have bought it a few times from the shop, I also had one of them as a gift for christmas.
Okay so the first thing I have to say is I know that not everyones skin is the same. I have extremely sensitive skin and will get horrible excema after certain products, this soap bar does not irritate me in the slightest. Usually 'lush' shop products will irritate me to, so I have been suprisinly impressed by this.
I'm going to give the good and the bad points of this product and my overall review.
Okay so the actual name of this massage bar is soft coeur.

Good:
  • It leaves my skin feeling so soft afterwards I didnt know it could even go that soft.
  • It smells so nice I literally want to sit there all day and smell it.
  • I'm happy with the price of £4.19, addmitedly its a bit more than I would usually pay but for what it is I think that is a good price.
  • This soap even looks pretty, I know that might sound a bit silly but I like the way that 'lush' has designed this soap into a pretty heart.
  • The smell of the soap will remain on your skin. I hate buying a product that will only smell nice whilst in the bath, this smell will remain on your skin for ages! Yum :)
Bad:
  • The only bad thing that I have to say about this product is it will go very quickly. This will only usually last me 2-3 bath's. Admitedly I don't ever have a quick bath mind and I am usually in there for at least 45 minutes. So this may last other people 5-6 bath's.
Overall rating - 9.
I strongly recommend trying this product.

Thank-you for reading my review. Has anyone else reviewed any products recently? I would love to see your reviews so please leave blog links below.
Thanks again, Abbie :)

A little post to say I am still here...

Hello, Sorry I have not been blogging for the past month. My life has been hectic! Between juggling work, family, friends, the gym & so many other thing I just havent had time to blog :(
I am definetley going to blog more now though in this new year :)
There is so many stuff I want to say in this post so this is going to be a bit of a mixed life post about what is going on in my life recently.

Christmas: I had a brilliant christmas this year and I hope everyone else did too. I was shocked at how spoiled I was. I got a new camera, doc martens, DC's, 2 pairs of converse, vans, a sat nav (YAY I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST) & lots of other bits & bobs that I loved. Tomorrow im hoping to do a post on my christmas.
Before Christmas my family went to a place called celtic manor for a christmas day out :) It was a lovely day, we had photos with Santa, seen reindeers & had a yummy hot chocolate!!
I went to a couple of different Santa's this christmas, I took my baby sister to see them :)
Outfit - Jumper - Tesco £18, Leggins - £12 select.

The dress that I am wearing above is the dress that I wore on christmas day. It was a present that I had for christmas and changed into on christmas morning :) The dress is from select and I think it was £16 I cant remember exactly how much it was when I chose it. The tights are from Marks & Spencer and they're actually a dark brown colour they were £8 but theyre really think and I have wore them a few times now without them scagging. I highly recommend Marks & Spencer tights :)

New Years Eve! Right well this new years Eve I did originally want to go out for a couple of drinks with some friends. But I decided that I would rather stay in with my family & boyfriend for a quiet night. We had a lovely night we watched the DVD of 'family man' and had champagne and my grandpa cooked a curry. It was a thai red curry and I will give anyone the recipe if you would like it please let me know in a comment :) It was very lovely!

This little beautiful puppy joined my father a few days after christmas :) My sister said that she wanted to buy a puppy out of her christmas money. His name is 'fudge' and he is 6 and a half weeks old and he is a king charles spaniel. I love puppies and I was so chuffed when my father told me, he will be one very spoilt little puppy!

For christmas my boyfriend bought me lots of lovely things. One of the things that he bought for me was a pamper day at nant duu lodge & spa. It was a lovely night! The pool & spa there was so quiet we were pretty much the only ones in there. Below is a picture of me in the resteraunt. The food was gorgeous! I had mushroom soup to start which was reccomended by a friend and then I had salmon for my main with a very nice well-deserved glass of wine :)
When I got there I had another surprise he had booked a lovely riverside room in the hotel. So we had a lovely view looking out at the river! When we were sleeping the sound of the river was so peaceful! It was honestly the most relaxing break I've ever had! The picture down the bottom was before we left to go. The T-shirt im wearing is from newlook £7 on offer, the leggins £12 also from new look and my bag £45 from river island. I love that bag, I had it as a present off my mother for christmas and I wear it with nearly everything I own. :)

Thank-you everyone for reading my post. Sorry if you found it boring I did babble on a little bit! I will hopefully be blogging a LOT more now! I plan on doing a couple of reviews. I may even do one later and out-do myself with two posts in one day!
Thanks again for reading! I love hearing all your lovely comments and please leave links to any posts :)

Soap & Glory breakfast scrub review.

Sorry I have not been blogging lately. This month my life has been hectic! I started a new job which is an hour away from where I live, so the majority of my month has been taken up by travelling! I really do love my new job though which i'm happy about! :) I have also been very busy socially.
I am going to try to put more time aside for blogging. Okay so on with the review.

*Not my picture* I would have taken a picture of my own product but my phone lead for the computer hasn't been working too well recently.
Okay so for this review I will do the good and the bad points of this product for me.
Good:
  • The first thing I have to say about this is it smells gorgeous!! I could actually sit there and smell it all day. It will also leave the stunning smell on your skin for quite some time afterwards.
  • It has become a life saver for use before & after shaving for me. I find it is a fabulous exfoliator for using with shaving. It will leave my skin feeling so smooth afterwards.
  • It lasts ages! I have had mine for 8 months and it is still half full.
  • You only need to use a small amount. I have found with previous products that you have to use about a handful for it to work effectively. A small amount definetly goes a long way with this product!
Bad:
  • I have super sensitive skin and what I will sometimes find about this product is it will sometimes make my sensitive skin flare up.
So overall I find this product brilliant! I would 100% recommend it. If you do have sensitive skin then just be cautious that it might flare up a little bit.

Thankyou for reading! :) I love reading all your comments! .. Feel free to leave any blog links for me to take a look at.

September favourites.

Okay so I realise this post is a bit late but this week has been jam packed for me and I have not been able to find the time to blog so I apoligize. Next week is going to be a big week for me and my nerves are high, I'm starting my new job Monday and have my driving test Tuesday, nervous isn't even the word haha!!

Okay so I dont have loads of favourites this month but I do have quite a few so here they are..

I am in love with this nail varnish!! It looks fab. Most other glitter nail varnish's that I have don't give me the same effect as this one. It is much more prominent than others that I own. I think this nail varnish is going to be a lush christmas nail varnish colour! I am going to be purchasing the blue one of this polish this week. Another thing this looks great on is my toe nails.
Last week whilst in asda I noticed that the herbal essances products were all on offer 2 for £4. I just had to try something from this offer so I bought myself this hair mask. They had lots of different types of hair masks available I bought the one for dry/damaged hair. It actually worked really well I was impressed with how soft and hydrated my hair felt after use. There is only one problem with this product I only used it once and I was quite shocked with the quantity I had to use on my hair, so I dont think it will last long. I would definetley say this is worth buying. Tomorrow I am going to be going back up to asda to buy some more herbal essance products as there is a split end solution that I wanted to try in with this offer. What I have done is every time I bought a family member a hair mask on the same day as one of their christmas presents I think they are great gifts!!

Vaseline has been my lifesaver this month! With the weather changing the way it has been it has been leaving my lips feeling dry! I have been applying this vaseline daily and it is really making a difference! This is my favourite vasoline as I find this is the one that works the best on my lips.

I love radox! This is my favourite one. The weather has been freezing lately and I have been loving coming in on cold nights and having a nice hot relaxing bath with a book! This radox is meant to make you sleep easier. I wouldn't say it has been helping me sleep but it has definetely been helping me to relax. So for anyone who has been looking for a relaxing bubble bath this is a good choice! Plus it is only £1 in most places like boots & asda, you really can't go wrong for £1.

This is the second bottle of this shampoo that I have bought. I adore it! A few years ago I had alopecia and ever since my hair has been quite weak and damaged, I would do anything and try anything to improve the condition of my hair. I know I don't help by straightening and dying my hair. This shampoo has also really helped with my hair growing. It honestly have helped it to grow since I have been using it I find it is growing a lot quicker. So for anyone with weak hair or maybe just want their hair to grow then I would 100% reccomend this!

I love this body butter, I actually love everything about it. I had this for christmas and it is still going strong now. I love using this body butter just after shaving my legs it leaves them perfectly smooth. A bonus to this body butter is the amazing smell. This is from the body shop and I think it is £13. I know £13 can be a bit pricey but it would be worth it if you were maybe treating yourself to a product.

Again another body shop product. Some people would think I am crazy for saying this but I actually prefer the body shop products to lush products. I do buy a lot from the shop. Recently I purchased this shower gel and I really love it! It smells gorgeous, plus it is lasting really well. This shower gel was only £4 and I think it is a brilliant price for what you get. It is WELL worth the money.

My nan gave me this spray earlier in the month as I had been cleaning my room and it smells gorgeous. Right what you should know about this product is it is actually a room spray  but I have to admit I have been using it as a perfume. I know I shouldn't but it smells gorgeous!! This spray is actually from the yankee candle range, I never even knew they did spray's. She picked it up from a hallmark store near where we live and she thinks it was about £2.99. I actually love it and I am going to be buying another one the next time I go into the shop.

I bought this lipstick online on the website fragrance direct. I was really debating on weather or not to order off this website or weather I thought it was a fake because of how cheap the products are. I decided to go for it anyway and order! I ordered this calvin klein lipstick! It is GREAT! it stays on for ages and leaves a very lovely colour. They had the lipsticks in lots of other colours here is the link.

This product is now empty but it did last me ages. It actually lasted me about 8 months which I think is a long time for a small cream. I mainly used this cream on my hands and I found it made them really soft also left them with a lovely cocoa butter smell. As you can tell I like things coconut/cocoa butter from reading my other favourites. I will be repurchasing this cream as it was brilliant and worked really well.

Thankyou for reading my post! :) Has anyone else done a september favourties post? I would love to take a look :D Please feel free to leave any blog links, I love reading all your lovely comments. xxx
