Pregnancy autumn pamper routine

Hi everyone,
I haven't done a post in a little while and since my last post autumn has began.
I love autumn, I love everything about it!
I would say this time of year; the autumn/winter months is 100% my favourite time of year, since I'm not really one for summer personally, espessialy since this summer I was pregnant, pregnancy and being too warm is an absolute NO NO!
One of my favourite things to do at this time of year is pamper myself, take bubble bath's and just enjoy being all snugly at home.
So I'm going to take you through some of the things that I do;

Step 1) run myself a lovely relaxing bubble bath.

Lush now have their autumn/winter products out. I must admit I've already bought a few. This is "the Christmas hedgehog" bubble bar! Oh my god, this is amazing! It has a very relaxing, calming smell to it and it just had me completely chilled out in the tub. I've already used two of these and next time I'm in lush I will be purchasing more

Step 2) light candles.

These 2 are my favourite candles at the moment. "Party time" is one I had as a birthday present off my mother, so I'm not to sure on where she bought it from. But if you do see it around, it's definetely worth giving a sniff! It smells lovely!
Blissful autumn is one of the Yankee candles brought out espessialy for this time of year, to be honest the only way to describe the smell of this is to say it smells exactly like autumn! Perfect relaxing, bath time candles.

Step 3) facemask

At this time of year in particular my skin seems to get really dry. I think it's really important to look after your skin! I have extremely sensitive skin so it's a struggle for me to find products that don't irritate it. When I came across this facemask in tesco for sensitive skin I thought it was worth a try. I must say it is amazing! For only 99p it always leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and soft and it's just like you've had a professional facial. I just love to chill out in the bath with this face mask on and totally relax. I really do recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin who does struggle to find a good facemask.

Step 4) Moisturise when out of the bath.

At the moment I'm loving the 'lush' massage bars I think they're great and leave skin smelling and looking gorgeous! This one is 'tender is the night' it smells absolutely gorgeous! .. Because I'm pregnant once I've used this I do also rub my bump and thighs with some palmers cocoa butter which I'm preferring to any of the other bump lotions at the moment!
My skin always feels really soft after it and cocoa butter doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, plus cocoa butter smells amazinggggggg!!

Step 5) New pj's!

Autumn/ winter time I find is a perfect excuse to treat yourself to new pj's. Plus I have a ever growing bump at the moment so I also used my bump as an excuse to treat myself! The checkered pj's are from new look. The fox pj's are from tesco and the slipper boots are from matalan. Slipper boots I find are also an absolute essential this time of year and these ones feel like how I imagine walking on clouds would feel!

Step 6) Pamper my feet.
I didn't want to display any pictures for this step because to be perfectly honest my feet are not very pretty right now and they are rather swollen at the moment. This step might mainly be for the pregnant women out there. Pregnancy does some strange things. One of the strange things it does is make your feet go swollen and you do feel rather achy. I find it really helps me to use a good foot lotion. The one I'm particularly enjoying at the moment is the 'soap and glory' heel genius. This works a treat. After using this I then spritz myself with 'the body shop' peppermint cooling foot spray. It cools my feet right down and it has the most loveliest smell.
You don't have to just be pregnant to pamper your feet mind. These products are worth giving a try even if your not pregnant! I'm going to be still using them after I've had the baby.

Step 7) paint my nails/ toe nails

I'm loving the revlon nail varnish's at the moment. This colour is a gorgeous glittery pink, which I think is lovely for this time of year.

Step 8) fresh bed sheets!
I love jumping into lovely clean, fresh bed sheets after a relaxing pamper sesh and then snuggling up with a book! So this for me is an essential step in my pampering process!

That's the end of my pregnancy pamper routine. I enjoyed writing this post because I enjoy reading posts like this myself. Hope you enjoying reading it! Thankyou bye!! Xxxxx

Lush dream cream review

Hi everyone,
Today I'm going to do a rather long review on the lush hand & body lotion called 'dream cream' I bought this product back in May, I've waited a while to review it so that I could give it a proper review.
I suffer really badly with eczema and recently it has gotten a lot worse since I have been pregnant, not too sure why this is.
When I popped into my local lush shop and explained to them I needed a body lotion that is ideal for sensitive skin, they recommended this one. They told me that there is oat milk in the product which is very helpful in soothing irritated skin. I was instantly intrigued by this. When I first tried this cream it wasn't really what I expected, the cream is quite thick but goes onto the skin rather oily (not usually the way most exzema creams work) but this actually leaves the skin with a stunning healthy looking glow.
It has an unusual sort of smell it reminds me of cocoa butter but you can also definetely smell the oat milk, the scent of the product in all honesty isn't my most favourite of lush scents and isn't the usual smell you would expect in lush, but it is still a very nice sort of relaxing smell. There is in fact rose water and lavender oil in the product which may explain the relaxed feeling I have when using the product.
I used this cream on my skin for around 3 days and then I started to notice quite  a difference, it really did calm the redness of my eczema down and took away the inflamed soar look to it. I continued to use it and it did in fact keep my eczema away and under control, this I was very impressed by. The product has a very cooling effect going onto the skin and when my exzema is at it's worst that is exactly what I need, it just feels very soothing, hydrating and moisturing.
I have recently stopped using the product due to trying out a couple of other products. But then earlier this week my skin has had another one of it's exzema flare ups so I decided to use it again, and it has worked it's magic yet again and calmed the rash and the itching down. This time I don't think I'll be stopping using this trusty product because it really does make a massive difference to my skin. I'm not really sure what dream cream would be like on normal skin, but I would definetely recommend it to anyone with dry, or sensitive skin and most definetely to anyone who suffers with irritated exzema prone skin.
This product is currently £11.50 and for such a good moisturising cream I would say it is definetely money well spent, once I have used up my pot I will be repurchasing. https://www.lush.co.uk/products/dream-cream here is the link to the lush website where you can purchase this product.
Thankyou for reading my review I hope I covered everything and that I didn't babble on too much. There is pictures for you to see below.
Thanks, Abbie xxx

Pregnancy first trimester

Hi everyone,
I have not done a blog post in quite some time now and since my last post I discovered that I am having a baby. Me and my fiancé are thrilled with this news and cannot wait to meet him/her. I am now 14 weeks pregnant so I thought I would do a post on my first trimester. In all honesty I have not been having an easy pregnancy I know some people have pregnancies where they experience no symptoms at all, I'm jealous of these people!!!

SCANS:
Okay so first things first I found out I was expecting the baby when I was around 4 weeks pregnant I've had a couple of complications so I have had 3 scans by the time I'm 12 weeks. Here are the scans, you can really see the baby growing!

This is my first scan I was around 4 weeks 6 days as you can see the baby just looks like a little blob, aw!!

This is my second scan, in this scan we could see a tiny little flicker of the heart beating I'm around 5 weeks 6 days here.

This scan is my most recent scan and it was my dating scan at 11 weeks 1 day. And here the baby is looking like a baby, I'm due on the 15th February.

Everything is looking perfect with baby and I will know what I'm having in 2 weeks time, I can't wait to see if I'm having a little boy or a little girl. My fiancé and I are really excited for that scan!

SYMPTOMS
As I mentioned above I haven't had the easiest of pregnancy's I definitely have had my fair share of symptoms. My morning sickness started at exactly 6 weeks, I will say morning sickness does not just mean the mornings, I would mainly get it in the afternoons and in the evenings and often if I start early In work I would have it in the mornings in work. Morning sickness was so unpleasant, it has luckily worn off slightly now but it can strike you at any time, 4 days ago I was driving my car and ended up being sick in the actual car, really not a nice experience at all (the car has now had a thorough cleaning.) I didn't really find anything helped with my morning sickness other than drinking little sips of water and avoiding anything heavy on the stomach. Crisps are also making me sick in this pregnancy so I'm not eating them at all. Some people say to try ginger biscuits, drinking flat full fat coke, and peppermint tea. These tips may work for others if you are currently experiencing morning sickness.
have also been experiencing tiredness, I'm feeling tired all of the time. This is no matter how much sleep I get, I seem to spend a lot of my time in bed since being pregnant.
Other symptoms I've had is - aching muscles, disgusting taste in my mouth, feeling emotional, dizziness, fainting and needing to pee a lot.

CRAVINGS
I have not yet experienced any weird cravings as such but I have had a few cravings, I've craved lollipops, I now eat about 10-15 of them a day. I've also craved milk, I'm not really a milk drinker at all but I have been drinking milk in pregnancy. Also I've been eating a lot of ice, I think this is due to heat also, where I'm living we are having hot weather at the moment. I can't wait till winter already, haha!

OVERALL
I know I've had a rough pregnancy so far but I am really looking forward to meeting my baby and I'm so excited for upcoming scans to see how the baby is growing. I can't say I'm loving pregnancy because I'm not so far due to the symptoms and things that I have had. I'm hoping that my second trimester goes a lot easier, fingers crossed!

Thanks for reading, bye!! Xxxx

Lush product review

I have been meaning to do a post like this for quite a while now but just haven't got round to it.. Basically I love 'lush' id say my obsession with lush has increased over the last year more than ever. That is because I used to have very easily irritated skin but now that it's under control it means I can use the products more. For Christmas one if the gifts I had was a box filled with lots of lush products. I've decided to review a few today;

My lovely box filled with goodies :)

This bath bomb is called butterball. Butterball is one of the more boring looking bath bombs from lush. Most of the bath bombs are usually more colourful and exciting.  Do not let the appearance put you off! This is the most moisturising bath bomb I have ever used! I can really see why it is called butterball! It leaves your skin smelling gorgeous and so smooth it smells exactly like cocoa butter. When I got out of the bath after using this I didn't even have too moisturise it was that good! This bath bomb retails at a really good price of £2.50 it's one of the cheaper ones that lush offer. I highly recommend trying this!!

This bath bomb is called Avobath. I love it! This bath bomb is definitely going to become my go to bath bomb when I am having a stressful day. It smells very citrusy and left a gorgeous scent in my bathroom all day. I used this bath bomb when I had a day off from work and treated myself to a pamper day. I was instantly relaxed in the bath and found the bath bomb very soothing! This bath bomb is £3.25, I think it's well worth the price! I recommend buying it and using it when you have a day where you just need to relax!

Sex bomb! This is one of the more floral scented Bath bombs. I have good and bad points about this! I must admit it did leave my skin feeling and smelling lovely for hours after using it. Plus it turned my bath water pink which is always great in my books. The only problem I had was the rose that's on top of this bath bomb; it didn't melt in the bath it just sort of stayed there in the water with me. I think if they made this bath bomb with a melting rose then it would be 10/10 but at the moment I'll give it an 8/10 which is still pretty good! The price of this Bath bomb is £3.25.

This is a massage bar by lush that's called Wiccy Magic Muscles. I suffer a lot with back ache so when I got this in my box of goodies I was so happy. It smells very herbal and healing if that's even a smell. It reminds me of a spa sort of scent. This bar is perfect. The little stones that are inside it give you the most perfect massage ever. It lets it proper dig into the little nooks and crannys that need massaging. I highly recommend this espessialy if you get achy muscles! It also leaves skin very moisturised and smooth and smelling gorgeous! The only problem with this is it is £6.25 but it does last ages so it is worth the purchase!

That's going to finish off my review I do have dorm more products to review but I won't do them al in this blog post :) I want to keep some for another post. Does anyone else have any lush reviews? I'd love to read them! :) thanks for reading. Abbie xxx

Autumn Haul

Hi everyone,
Today's post is going to be an Autumn Haul, its just a few things I have picked up over the past week or two. Tomorrow I am hoping to purchase a couple of things off my wish-list.. Today when I went shopping I didn't buy anything from my list, but I did buy some other really nice things :)
Okay, so lets start the haul..
5

Okay, so, peplum... I love peplum tops!! Originally the first time I tried one on I couldn't wait to take It off because it made me look about 20 stone bigger than I am.. But I thought I would give them another go!! Much to my surprise I ended up loving it! I bought this top as the start of my work clothes collection. I like It because black goes with anything and I'm planning on adding some nice gold jewellery with this. I recommend this style top If your like me and you carry weight on the top half of your body. This top has the ability to make my waist look small, which believe me is something very difficult to do!! Haha.. I bought this in new look and it was £8.99 which I think is a good price. So hurry up and get to new look if you like this style top because they had lots of different colours!! :)
**If your a student for a limited time in new look there is 20% discount**

Another item of clothing which I was surprised I bought was this midi skirt. Anything clingy will usually make me look pregnant but this skirt really does flatter my figure. I tried it on with the peplum top above and it made a really nice outfit. I bought this skirt a few days ago from new look and it was £14.99 but when I went in today it was in the sale for £11, I was gutted, could have saved £4. I will be wearing this skirt and top above for my first day of work on Monday with a nice pair of heeled boots because I think it is smart yet casual.

Whilst out shopping with my friends today this skirt caught my eye. The lighting isn't very good in this picture but the colour on the skirt is a really nice deep burgundy. I really like burgundy and I associate it with being an autumn colour. I also think that these skirts look so cute with jumpers and shirts this time of year. I had this skirt in the Dorothy Perkins sale today, it was down from £12 to £7, bargain!!! So yeah, I just had to have it :)

I bought this top last week and I instantly knew I liked it. I am a tiny bit obsessed with Aztec patterns!!! I probably should have taken a photo to show but this top actually has little buttons going down the back of it, which I thought was a lovely detail to add to the design. Another reason why I like this top is because I think it will go with anything I own, I think it would look nice with jeans, leggings or a skirt. Plus I also think that it would be nice for work dressed up with a blazer! Or nice for casual wear dressed with a jacket or cardigan.. This top has many possibilities so I simply couldn't and wouldn't have left the shop without it! Another fabulous thing was it only cost £8, and it is from select. :)

I LOVE this dress, I LOVE everything about this dress. Okay, so when I went to Cardiff I went into the shop 'coast' which is not usually the kind of shop I go into but it caught my eye. When I was in there I noticed the sale rail and since the shop is a little bit pricey the sale rail was the first place I went! I was so happy when I seen this cute little dress and I was even happier to find that they had it in my size. When I went to try it on I realised how much I needed it!! .. My favourite part of this dress is the top half, the lace detail is just sooooo nice. I just love how the dress falls and fits so nicely, its such a brilliant quality. I also love the colour mint green, so the colour pretty much sold the dress to me! The dress was originally £95 but the sale price on the dress was £29 BUT... when I took the dress to the check out the lady behind the counter told me that the dress had gone down even lower in price and that it was now only £20, I was so happy with that!! She wrapped the dress up in some lovely posh paper and a bow and put it into a little cute bag! I was so happy leaving coast that day!! :)

Anyone who may have read my 'autumn' wish-list post from yesterday may know that I posted a very similar coat to this one onto my wish-list. Yesterday when I was in Asda I decided to take a browse at the clothing section because I often really like the clothes up asda. I had a pleasant surprise when I saw this coat and when I tried It on I was really happy. I think that this coat is a perfect colour to go with lots of clothes I own plus it is smart enough to wear to work. I really like the buttons on the coat I think they're a lovely detail and make the coat look smarter! I don't think I'm going to be getting the one on my wish-list now because this one was £40 cheaper! this coat only cost me £19! I'm really happy with that price!!!

Yes, another peplum top! This time in leather. I bought this top to wear out in the nights because I don't really own any suitable going out tops at the moment and I thought this would look really nice with skinny jeans! I've bought quite a lot of leather clothes the past couple of weeks, I think they look really good! This top Is from select and it was in the sale from £10, to £8. Another bargain!! ;)

This dress I bought yesterday in the new look sale and I must say I LOVE IT! I really like the lace detail on the dress and I think the fitting on the dress is really good! Often skater dresses really cling to me but this material fitting perfectly and didn't cling at all!! The belt came with a belt, the picture doesn't show it but the belt actually has a pretty gold buckle in the middle. I like the dress with and without the belt. I also think this dress would look nice for work or nice to go out in.. The dress was in the sale down from £24.99 to £11.

After pondering around the new look sale today I eventually branched out and went into the 'new in' section in new look. I was drawn to quite a few things but this blazer in particular caught my eye... That was probably because 1) I was looking for a blazer, and 2) I love the colour burgundy!
I think this blazer will go lovely with some of the outfits I have planned for work and also I can pair it with a casual top to dress it up a bit. After buying this blazer I went into Matalan and I seen a lovely pair of boots which I will be buying tomorrow to go with it!!  This blazer was £19.99, I personally think that is a really good price, I was happy with that!

Okay so I have just notice a bit of a colour scheme that I have going on without even realising it. I seem to be buying a lot of navy and burgundy items.. These bracelets I think are really nice and they'll clearly go with a lot of the stuff I have recently bought. I think the bow on the bracelet is really cute! These bracelets are from new look and were in the sale down from £4.99, to £2.

Isn't this bracelet jut the cutest thing, aww!! I love cute little bracelets like this one. When I was by the till paying for my items today in outfit my friend pointed this bracelet out to me because she knows me so well and knew I would like it! I think that this will go with a lot of what I own.. Also I think that gold jewellery is really starting to grow on me! I had always been a silver sort of girl but recently after wearing more gold I'm starting to really like it!! This bracelet was in the Topshop sale from £8.50 to £2.50!

These earrings I really liked because I like the pinky pearly colour of them. I think they're really pretty! I've been trying to buy some more dropper earrings recently because I've started to wear my hair up a lot more, I think its nice to wear pretty earrings when my hair is up. I love the shop accessorize! I can never go in there without buying something!! These earrings were only £1 :)

The last two things in this haul are these two items of makeup! :)
1) Max factor - Whipped crème foundation in shade 40, light ivory.
2) Bourjois Paris - Bronzing powder in shade 12. Fair/medium skin.
In boots at the moment there is an offer on ALL of the makeup throughout the store. Buy 1 item get another item half price! I simply couldn't resist this offer!!
Boots have recently been handing out NO7 vouchers, these CAN be used alongside this offer which I think is brilliant!! I'm going to pop to Boots and treat myself a little bit more I think ;)
I'm not going to say much about these products because I'm hoping to do a review on them. Would anyone like this? I will say that I am very happy with both items :)

That's the end of my haul! I hope it wasn't boring! I really enjoyed writing this post! I love going shopping which means I pretty much always have a haul that I'm wanting to write.
Please leave links to blogs below :) I'd love to take a look!!
Has anyone done a haul recently? :)

Thank-you for reading

Autumn wishlist

Hi everyone,
This post is going to be my autumn wishlist post! I love autumn, I think its such a lovely season... Everything gets all warm and snuggly and the nights start to get darker. Last night I lit all my lovely yankee candles and made fajtas and had a lovely night in all snuggled up in my onesie. It was perfect!
Another thing I LOVE about Autumn is all the lovely clothes and makeup, im particularly loving tartan this year.. So i'm going to write a wishlist of all the things i'm hoping to pick up this season. I start my new job on monday and I will be getting paid with my previous jobs Tomorrow and on the 15th, which means I have an excuse to treat myself to lots of goodies ;)

Burgundy Short Fur Hood ParkaI really like this coat I think it just looks so lovely and warm and it is really appealing to me! I have to be honest I do have a slight obsession with parka's and seeing this burgundy one got my really excited!! Plus I think burgundy is a lovely autumny colour (is autumny a word, hmm..) I also like how this coat could be worn as casual wear and also work wear! It will keep me lovely and warm in the cold weather we are having recently. Espessialy since in the icy weather conditions I think  i'll be walking to work rather than driving..
This coat is from miss selfridge and it is £69.99, it is a little bit pricey but I think it is worth it.
I have already tried this coat on in the shop and I have fallen in love with it so I think it will be the first thing I will purchase off my wishlist.

Black fur concealed wedges  I think that these shoes are so cute!! Whilst browsing on the Dorathy perkins website I saw these and I instantly thought "SHOES I NEED TO HAVE YOU" They will go with lots of outfits that I have planned to buy and I think they will look great with Jeans, dresses, skirts, anything really.. Another thing I really like about these boots is their affordable price tag! They're only £35! I bought a pair of boots from Dorathy Perkins around 2 years ago and they're still going strong now so I know that they are most likely going to be good quality shoes! I'm going to order these shoes near the end of this month and see if they have any more colours come in! These would look great in burgundy!! :)

Black and white stitch beanie                Also from Dorathy perkins that I really liked was this hat. I must admit I usually go for all the cute hats with the animal faces on them but this year I am going to attempt to break that habit (only in work, I'll still buy them sneakily for out of work :P) This hat is £12, I'm quite happy with that price! I think this hat would look really nice with jeans, a jumper and some furry boots! Maybe the ones above :P

Black Pattern (Black) Black Foil Aztec Print Leggings | 296294509 | New Look   I am really drawn to these leggings!! I think the pattern on them is really eye catching. I love leggings because you can dress them up or dress them down depending on what top and shoes you wear with them. I am planning on wearing some comfy over-sized jumpers with them. I think these will be perfect leggings to do some Christmas shopping in. These are from new-look and they are £14.99!

Black Pattern (Black) Black Tapestry Floral Low Heel Chelsea Boots | 290559809 | New Look  Another thing which I REALLY like from new look are these cute little boots. I really like the pattern on these and I think they will look lovely with dresses/skirts with thick black tights. I also like how these boots have a little bit of a heel on them. I often find that I walk better and taller when I wear boots/shoes with a little bit of a heel. I will be mainly wearing these in work I think. Maybe with a plain black dress and pretty cardigan...hmm.. These boots are £19.99, I'm more than happy with that price tag!

I love this skirt!! I tried it on in the river island shop when I went shopping with my Fiancé the other day! I wish I had bought it that day but they didn't have my size and were waiting for new stock, the one I tried on was a tad too loose.. Whilst getting the picture off the website for this post I noticed they had my size, I might just have to make a sneaky order ;) oops!!

ASOS Playsuit in Twill  These dungarees I find soooo cute!! I love the mustard colour on them. I also like the way that the girl is wearing them in the picture with the shirt underneath! I have a couple of pairs of dungarees that I bought in the summer but I think these are a lovely autumn colour! These dungarees are from Asos and they are £35.

Image 1 of Love Skater Dress in Baroque Print   Image 3 of Love Skater Dress in Baroque Print
This dress is also from Asos. I think this dress would look lovely for work, going out for a meal or going shopping during the next couple of months. I really like the colour on the dress which is like a teal, I think the pattern against it looks lovely. I can't wait to add this dress to the million and one other dresses I already own (I have a dress problem, haha!)  I'm really excited to buy this!! It's £38, which I think it is a little bit pricey, but It certainly looks worth it to me! :)

Thank-you everyone for reading my wish-list. I'm going on a shopping trip tomorrow so there will be a haul coming up :) I was also thinking about doing a look book post because I really enjoy reading them so I'm thinking about doing one of my own.
Has anyone done a wish-list? or a haul recently? I would love to have a look! :) Please feel free to leave any blog links below, I'd love to have a nose!

My uncle's wedding

Hey everyone :)
Today's post is going to be a life style post because I have had a briliant weekend and I wanted to share it with everyone.
This weekend was my Uncle's wedding. It has come around so quick!! He proposed to my Auntie last year but it only seems like last week.
The wedding was in a beautiful place called Bryn Meadows :) they had the service and the reception here. It was the most stunning wedding I have ever been too!
My Auntie should really be a wedding planner, she thought of EVERYTHING. Even down to little gifts, the women all had yankee candle favours and the men had 2 thorntons chocolates, so lovely!!

Photo
The Gorgeous little Yankee candle wedding favours!!
After looking for a dress in LOADS of different shops in LOADS of different places I finally found one that I liked.
It is from Debenhams and the designer is Julien Mcdonald, I also had my shoes from Debenhams. My bag I bought last year from prom but I used it again for the wedding because it was in perfect condition and looked lovely with my dress I think :)
I really like my dress because I think the style of it really suited my figure. I got this dress in a size 16 but i probably could of got a 14 if it was in stock because I think the Julien Mcdonald sizes are really generous! My favourite part of this dress is the jewelled belt around the middle, I think it looks so nice next to the red colour.

My outfit :)
Nathan (my uncle, the Groom) Got ready in our house on the day of the wedding. He looked really smart! I even managed to get him to have a picture with his pre-wedding nerves!
