Addicted to sales, its ANOTHER haul!

Okay so I have a big problem, i'm addicted to the sales. I cant believe I am doing another haul post. I can't resist a good sale, and there seems to be so many at the minute. But today I booked to go to Paris with my boyfriend on the 18th of this month I am going, so now I have a reason for spending to buy some lovely outfits to go. We are planning to go into Disneyland for 2 days and Paris for the rest, I am so excited. My grandparents will be coming with us but will not be staying with us they will be doing their own thing and we will be doing ours. So exciting!!!! .. Okay, so on with the holiday haul!

I really liked this top as soon as I found it, I think it will look really nice with a pair of nice denim shorts or jeans. I also have a really nice pair of dark blue shorts that would look lovely with this top. I had this top for £7 down from £12.99 in newlook! I thought that the price was very good because I know this item is actually new into the store as I liked it last week, so I was very happy with this purchase.

This top is the same top but in different colours, I liked it so much that I thought I would buy it in two different colours. I think the pictures on them look interesting, like fun in a way. I think they will look really nice with the pair of shorts that I am going to show you below. The black top was £5 anad the white one was £7, both of them down from £10 in newlook!

I LOVE these shorts, I have liked them for a while and was so pleased when I seen them in the sale today! They were £7 down from £19.99. I thought this was a really good price for these shorts, I like the pattern of stripes that are on them and I think both tops above will go with these and so will any vest top! These are from newlook!

This bow was only £1 from newlook! I really like it because as you can see from the picture it can be used for lots of stuff. you can put it on a bouble or a bracelet and wear it as a bracelet, put it in the hair or clip it to a top! So for £1 I thought this was a really good buy! I have been looking for something to put in my hair because I think that my hair looks a bit boring sometimes with the same style, so I thought this bow would make it look a bit nicer. Pleased with my purchase! :)

This bag is £12 from £19.99 in newlook! I think it is a really pretty, recently I have really liked things that are colour blocked. I like all the colours on this bag, and it is a really good size. I can keep my phone, purse, makeup bag and other random bits and bobs in here, which will be very ideal for Paris. I also think that the colours are nice holiday colours and they will go with lots of stuff that I own, including the shorts above.

Adore this bracelet set I had them for £2 down from £5.99 I think that they are a really nice accessorie to add to an outfit. I am often looking for bracelets too because I always seem to loose them.

These shoes were only £5 from £9.99 in newlook I think they are a nice pair of shoes to pair up with pretty much any outfit, weather it be dressy or casual. I don't own many pairs of dolly shoes the last pair I remember buying is last year. So im glad that I have now bought a pair! I really like the colours that are in these shoes, they are simple but not boring.

Out of everything I bought out of jewellery I think that these are my favourite. I love bead jewellery Plus you dont have to wear these as a set you can mix and match them to go with different outfits. I think these bracelets will go with lots of different outfits and are a nice simple accessory. They only cost me £2 from newlook, the previous price was £4.99. I found this bargain very pleasing!

This lipstick is from the natural collection, I like the colour because it isn't too bright. The picture doesn't really compliment the product much but it is actualy a really nice colour. This shade is called berry sorbet. If your a fan of red lipstick then this is worth a try. The only problem that I have found with this product is it doesnt stay on for very long. I bought this from boots for £1.99 all natural collection products are 3 for £5, I didnt buy 3 products because I only really wanted this lipstick.

Both these bracelets are from dorothy perkins, both cost £1 each. I bought these to go together because I think that they make a cute set. I love the little hand on the bracelet. The picture doesn't show it but in the middle of the hand there is a little tiny jewel. These bracelets will pretty much go with any outfit and are nice little details to add to an outfit. For £1 each I think they were definetley worth the money! Both bracelets previously would have cost £4 each.

I LOVE this eyeliner, it is the only one I have ever used that does not rub off easily, it is a nice dark shade of black and really compliments the eyes. It has easy application because it is a twist up eyeliner. I rather this style to a pencil eyeliner, it saves all the sharpening. It is from the 'collection 2000' range in boots, I think that it cost me £2.80. I highly reccomend this eyeliner. The no7 nail varnish I had for £2 because I had a £5 off voucher for no7. Usually these nailvarnish's cost £7. I have used a no7 nail varnish before and they are very nice and the colour is prominent. I have been looking for a red nail varnish for a while now, I like this one because it is quite shiny and has a glimmer to it. I have not yet used this nail varnish but I will be trying it soon. This shade is called 'salsa'.

I love this bracelet, it cost me £2 from newlook! The previous price was £5.99. I like all the pretty little flowers that are on the bracelet, I think this will go perfect with a lot of dresses I own. This bracelet is pretty so i definetley think it will be a great with a pretty dress. The best thing for me about this bracelet is the clasp, it is really easy to do up. One thing I hate about a lot of bracelets is how fiddly they are to do up and how most of the time you have to ask someone else to do it up for you. This bracelets saves you all that struggling because it is easy to do up by yourself. I am very happy with this purchase!

Thankyou for reading! :) .. This is going to be the last haul that I do in a while, because I am going to try to save as much money as possible for holidays. I might buy the odd thing to go, but I will not be spending lots of money, because as you can see I do have some serious spending addictions, I LOVE a bit of retail therapy!!

Saturday, 7 July 2012

Oh no, Oh yes, its another haul!

I'm seriously going to have to stop myself from spending money, I cant stop! Admittedly I am spending it a lot more wisely than I used to, but I am still spending ridicolous amounts when I should be saving rather than spending! Right; now that my money ranting is over I should just get on with saying about what I bought, I just really wanted to state the fact to everyone including myself that I should not be buying stuff!

Aussie 3 for 2 hair products1) 3 minute miracle frizz remedy
2) Frizz miracle shampoo
3) Miracle hair insurance leave in conditioner
3 minute miracle frizz remedy -  I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the aussie hair products, this is a new one for me to try. I have tried some of the other '3 minute miracle' products and they have worked brilliantly. I have very frizzy naturally curly hair, and I would love for it to be calmed a bit. Hopefully this will do the job! It has a lovely smell, so even if it doesn't work the best at least I have yummy smelling hair!
Miracle hair insurance leave in conditioner -  I have been looking for a leave in conditioner because I have heard that they can be very good for dry hair. I hate it when my hair goes really dry, usually the only thing that will help then is washing my hair. I only like to wash my hair once every two days because otherwise it will wash out all the natural oils (which help the hair to grow). So I decided to buy my first ever leave in conditioner today, to see if this will help. My friend told me that her sister has used this product and that it worked very well for her, so I am hoping to see the same results! I will review this product after a couple of times using it to let you know how it goes.
Frizz miracle shampoo - I have used this product before so I just bought a new bottle today because I haven't bought it in a while. This shampoo usually works very well for my hair and does tame my frizzyness. I find that it smells like bubblegum, and it leaves a lovely smell in the hair even for a day or two after washing. I would recommend anyone with frizzy hair to give this product a try, as it does work really well for me.
I had these products from boots they cost me a total of £9.45 because they were 3 for 2, individually they would be roughly £4.99 each, so I did have them for a good offer.

Radox bubble bath1) Stress relief
2) Muscle soak
3) Muscle therapy
I have never actually tried any radox bubble bath, but I have heard some positive comments about it. Lately I have been having trouble sleeping so I thought I would try out a few different bubble baths, to see if having one before bed will help. I bought some of the relaxing ones, i'm really hoping these will work. I had these on offer in boots for £1.03 each, they were buy 2 get one free, so in total the 3 bubble baths only cost me £2.06. Does anyone know of anything good that can help someone to get a good night sleep? I would be very greatful for suggestions!

BarryM nail varnishI've been looking for a nice green nail varnish for a while now so I thought I would try a BarryM one, I own lots of different colour BarryM nail varnish and so far I haven't tried a shade I don't like. I was very pleased with this shade, Im wearing a lot of pastel colours recently and I think it looks really nice on my nails. This cost £2.99 from Boots. At the moment there is an offer on that if you spend £6 on any BarryM products you get a free retro colour nail varnish, somehow I managed to resist this offer!

Simply sensitive foaming cleansing wash
I love how this cleanser looks like a water and it is actually foam, things like this really appeal to me for some reason. Due to my skin being so sensitive I have to be really careful with what products I use on it. I use a lot of the 'simple' product range, but now boots have brought out their own cheaper version of 'simple' the boots range is called 'simply sensitive' I think that the name is quite appealing too. I used this cleanser for the first time tonight so I can't really review it. One thing I will say is that so far so good, because I have had no skin irratation and usually by now if a product didn't agree with my skin I would know all about it. Instantly after using this product my face felt lovely and refreshed. After I have used this product a couple more times, I may give it a proper review. I had this product on offer, it was £2.49 I had it for £1.65 saving 84p, I know that doesn't sound like much of a saving but pennies do add up! :)

Simply sensitive deep cleansing face mask
The product above was not the only product I decided to try from the 'simply sensitive' range, I also decided to try this face mask. I cannot usually use face masks because they give me a rash. I'm really hoping that this product will change all that, I will do a review on this product for other people with sensitive skin like mine. I haven't heard any reviews on it, but I will take the risk in trying it. I had this product on offer for £1.99 from £2.99, obviously from Boots! I'm very pleased with that price because the bottle is of a generous size.

Okay so after making my journey to the till in Boots and paying for all my items, I got given a £5 off no7 voucher. I LOVE no7 makeup. So I ended up going back into the store to spend this voucher. I bought this concealer, I have used this consealer before and I will say it is by far the best consealer I have ever used. It hides everything that you want it to. As you can see from the picture it blends in really well with skin tone. The original price on this consealer is £8, with the voucher I had it for £3. At the moment boots stores are giving out these vouchers at the till, so hurry to boots.

I bought these shoes today! I am in love with them. Its been a while now since I have bought a pair of shoes, I own so many pairs that I have been stopping myself buying anymore. But a shoe sale I cannot resist. At the moment in newlook there is 60% off shoes. I bought these to go with some of the clothes I purchased yesterday. I have already tried walking in them (I usually really struggle in shoes with any sort of heel) I actually found them quite easy to walk in! They look really nice on too! I had these shoes for £8 down from £19.99. Extremely happy with this purchase!!

I usually wouldn't post about my underwear but I just thought these were a really good buy! These knickers are from Marks&Spencer the best thing about these knickers is that they were such a good buy, the previous price was £28 and I had them in the sale for £1. These knickers are really cute and pretty I love the polka dot pattern on them. They had a matching bra to go with these knickers for £2.50 but it didn't come in my size, I was gutted! There was lots of other underwear in the sale, it is definetley worth looking in your local marks&spencer!

Thankyou for reading! :) As I mentioned above and I will ask again, does anyone know of any good products that can help someone to sleep? I am in need of a good nights sleep, I'll be very greatful :)

River island haul

Today I went to the river island sale. I only ended up spending £21, which I am really pleased about because I love all the things that I bought. I love all of these summer time sales, i'm going to be going to the new look one tomorrow too, which I will do another haul about. I did say to myself earlier in the week that I would be more careful with spending money, but theres sales on so i'm going to forget I ever said that :)

Cream skirt - This skirt was £2 in the sale, down from £20. This picture doesn't really show the pattern on the skirt but there is stripes along it. I think this skirt will look really lovely with patterened tights and a black top. I can't wait to wear it! Im very pleased with the price.
Navy skirt - I bought this skirt for when I go on holidays. I'm not to sure of the date ill be going yet but I think this skirt would be a really nice beach skirt, I love the buttons that are running down the skirt. This skirt also cost me £2.

I LOVE this dress on, i'm planning it on wearing it out for my friends birthday next weekend. I like the little lacy pattern that is on it. When I bought this dress I was under the impression that it was £20, but when I took it to the check out it actually only ended up being £10 I was so happy!

This skirt again only cost me £2  it looks really nice on too, its slimming which im happy about. It looks a bit like a zebra print and im liking all the animal print clothes recently. I bought a top to go with this skirt which I am going to write about below.

This is what I bought to go with the skirt above. Its a leotard top which will go really nice a skirt/shorts. Im going to buy a really nice pair of tights to go with this outfit. The thing I dont like about this is that its see through so I would wear a vest or a bralette underneath it so that you couldn't see too much skin. This is another item that only cost me £2!!!

Box full of surprises!

One of the presents I had off my grandparents for my birthday was a little box full of products that I have been wanting to try from Lush, I love all the lush products! They all smell so nice! So when I opened up this box on my birthday I was very happy! So now I am going to review the products that came in my little box!

The box - Okay so let me introduce you to my box, now I know that some people may think this as totally mad but I do really appreciate the small things and the way that something is presented. I love the colour on the box, and the way that the butterfly is wrapped around it. Right now I am going to go onto the inside of the box. Around all the products there is a load of pretty tissue paper, I think the inside is just as lovely as the outside!
The inside of the box - The products that are inside the box are; Karma Kream, Karma soap, happy hippy hair and body gel and there is also a bracelet in there too.

Karma kream - Okay so for a while before my birthday I was wanting to try this product because one of my friends had used it and told me it was brilliant! I will say my friend was right! This product is really fab! It is a hand and body lotion made with all fresh ingrediants. This left my hands/body feeling lovely and smooth whilst smelling lush to! The thing I love the most about this product is most body lotions i find will leave you feeling horrible and sticky, this one absorbs lovely into the skin and doesn't leave you feeling sticky at all. I would definetley recommend this product! Oh and for anyone who has sensitive skin I have it too, and this has not irratated me at all. Rating - 10/10.

Happy hippy hair and body gel - The first thing that I will say about this product is that lush has lived up to its name because it smells LUSH! This is made from freshly squeezed grapefruit, which I Liked the sound of before i had even tried the product. I use this as a shampoo because I have senstive skin and i found that it did irritate my arms slightly. As a shampoo this smells really nice on the hair, i found that the smell also stayed really nice when my hair was dry. It left my hair feeling nice and smooth too! Overall this product worked very well! Rating - 7/10 (due to the fact it irritated my skin)

Karma soap - I tried this for the first time tonight, I used it in the bath. This soap is a big bar and I think that it is going to last a while. It left my skin smelling really nice! I used this soap after shaving my legs and it also left my legs feeling quite moistorised. Due to not using this soap for very long i can't really give it a very accurate review, but I am going to give it 8/10 so far.

This is my favourite part of my little box. It is obviously not a product from lush but I think it was such a cute thing to put in the box. I love the little butterfly charm that is on there too, its really cute. I'm quite pleased with my colourful nails in this picture too.

Thankyou for reading!  Has anyone else tried any nice Lush products that they can reccomend? :)

Inside my memory boxes! :)

Most people will have a memory box, full of special memorys personal to them. I have quite a few memory boxes because I am one of these people who just can't throw anything out. I love keeping things so that in a few years time I can look back on them and remember all the memories that the item brings back to me :) Due to the fact I have so many memory boxes I'm only going to write about a few things inside them, otherwise this post would be never ending!

Okay so here they are, my memory boxes! The big one on the top right hand side is full of memory's that me and my boyfriend have shared, things like cinema tickets, holiday items, and restraunt reciepts are all in that box. The box in green has got lots of birthday/christmas cards in it. All the other boxes contain other meaningful items to me.

Sorry for the terrible picture, the lighting wasnt the best. Here are 2 mini scrapbooks that I have made, 1 of my favourite things to do is make scrapbooks and i'm currently in the middle of making one now, im half way through it. The picture on the right as you can see is of one of the books open, it has a picture of me and a few friend in it on a local beach, and the train ticket that we used to get there. I love all things creative and I hope to continue scrapbooking.

Lucky charm - Right so basically I don't really know what this is. A few years ago when I went abroad to spain we went into a really nice chinese resteraunt and as we were leaving the lady working there gave me and my friend who was with me one of these and told us that they were lucky. Ever since she gave it to me I have always kept it and I don't think I will ever throw it away. Yeah so thats my little story about the lucky charm.
Swarovski box - This box came with my swarovski crystal necklace, I always kept the box even though my necklace is in my jewellery box. I had my necklace bought for me in spain in the city of Barcelona. It was a gift off my father for passing my GCSE's. He bought it for me as a surprise, I was looking at all the jewellery and he asked me what was my favourite. He waited until I wasn't looking and then he bought it for me and gave it to me that evening. I would have had a present back home but I found out my GCSE results whilst I was abroad. I love my necklace a lot so that is why i kept the box.

Okay so both these things are off my friend alex! The picture on the left is actually from a note that she wrote me when we were 15. I couldnt show the whole note because it had a lot of personal things on it. I love keeping things like this because then I can look back and remember all the things that were important to us back then. The picture on the right is actually a birthday card, its a very unique card because she made it all about me. I love it! I love flowers, facemasks and boys and thats all the things that she included on the card! She got it spot on!!

The autographs in the picture are the band 'you me at six' autographs. Technically this doesn't hold any memories for me because I wasn't the one who got these autographs, my Alex got them for me because Iwas unable to go their signing. But it is still special for me because Alex got it for me when i couldn't make it and plus theyre famous people's autographs! So i will be keeping them for sure!
Another thing that there is lots of in nearly all my memory box's is photographs! I take loads of photos everywhere i go, I love photos! Although i don't really like being in them that much i still take lots because they are nice to look back on when you get older. The photo on top of the pile is a picture of me and my friend Hana, we look really young and different in this picture. Me and Hana have been through lots together, she is a lovely friend and she now has blogger!
http://hellobeautiful-give-me-a-smile.blogspot.co.uk/ Here is the link to her profile, she is worth following!

Okay so although it can't really be seen in the middle of the heart charm it says 'love'. I had this off my boyfriend in my stocking for christmas. I think it is really cute, I did keep it in my purse for a while for luck. I took it out then incase it got lost. I love it because its so dainty and cute, I really like cute little keepsakes like this.
The balloon is from my sixteenth birthday. On my sixteenth my grandparents paid for me and some friends to go to a theme park and then for a meal in frankie & benny's on the way back. It was a lovely sweet sixteen! So this balloon reminds me of that special day and eveything that went on.

Although I have kept my prom dress I have always kept my prom shawl too. I looked everywhere for something which I could drape over my arms for prom. I am extremely self consious with them and couldn't stand the thought of having them on display. Prom night holds lots of memories for me good/bad ones actually. I kept this to remember the good memories obviously. In the picrure that is me wearing the scarf, next to the limo that took us to prom. In the picture with me is one of my closest friends leah. I love leah loads! Recently we have got lots closer because we both have boyfriends and they get on great. Me and my Andrew have been on holidays with leah and Daniel (her boyfriend) twice now, and we hopefully will be going again soon!

Thankyou for reading my post! Other random things in my boxes include, Concert tickets, holiday hotel room cards, awards for swimming and guides, school reports, and loads of other bits & bobs. As I said earlier, I throw nothing out. Thank-you for reading! Has anyone else got memory boxes? Does anyone else not throw ANYTHING out or is it just me cluttering my bedroom?  :P xx

Haul :)

Right so this week I decided that I would spend money wisely buying some things that I really wanted. I get between £20-£30 pocket money on a saturday. Usually I will spend this all on clothes but instead i bought some other bits & bobs, the good news is I even have money left over this week!

These images are actually of birthday cards that I bought. In the card factory there is an offer on where you can buy 5 cards for £1, the cards in there are actually of a nice quality too considering they are so cheap. I didn't buy these cards just for birthdays though, I bought them to use in my scrapbook. My favourite cards that I bought with nice images were the ones in the picture, I really love the one with the wellies in I think it is really cute. I ended up buying 10 cards, but it only cost me £2.

Recently I have started to really like bird cages, i have no idea why but i think they are really pretty. This is actually a notebook although from the picture it doesn't really look like one, it cost £2.50 from wilkinsons which I thought was quite a good price. I like how it looks really vintage too. The paper that is inside the book is also nice and seems like it will be nice to write on, I'm very fussy when it comes to writing books. I own loads of them. I'm thinking of using this book to write down all my ideas/thoughts on various things. I might write down some blog ideas!

Although this post is supposed to be about what I spent my money on I had to say about these m&m's. I didnt buy them my boyfriend bought them for me, they tasted lush! They're £2 which is a ridiculous price for chocolate but they are sooooo nice!! They're from americandy, which is basically a shop full of american candy as the name states! They taste different from normal m&m's because they're made with real peanut butter. I can't wait to try more stuff from that shop, next time I will be trying a twinkie! Has anyone tried a twinkie?

I adore this photo frame that i bought today, all around the sides are pictures of butterflies, birds, and postage stamps. I thought it was a bit different to any of my other photo frames and that it will go nicely in my room. My room is pink, blue and green and all those colours are in the frame. This frame was £3.50 from wilkinson.

The notebook - I hve never read this book before but I loved the film and I own it on DVD. The film is really sad but it is worth watching to anyone who hasn't seen it. This book is meant to be really good, a couple of people I know have read it and have said it is better than the film. I have read 'the last song' by nicholas sparks and I loved that book and the film! I bought this book for £1.25 from my local market, I was very pleased with that price. Has anyone else read this book?
Pjama top - I own so many pairs of pjamas and usually they are all matching pairs, I bought this top without the bottoms because I have a perfect pair of pjamas bottoms to go with it. I shouldn't really of bought anymore, but i told myself it was OK because it was only a top. I bought this from Asda it was £3 in the sale, down from £5.

So altogether out of my pocket money I spent £12.25, this week i started off with £30, so I now have £17.75 left. I'm going to try to spend the rest of that wisely too. I'm planning on buying some Barry.M nail varnish, a DVD and getting some photos developed soon so I will be spending some money on that. Thankyou for reading! :)

Outfits that I have worn and liked recently!

Hello! I thought I would do this post because it is hard for me to find a outfit that I actually really like on! I love buying new clothes and i always seem to be buying them but then when it comes to finding something to wear out, im always saying "I have nothing to wear." So I thought i'd do this post on things that i do like to wear :)

This photo was actually taken yesterday, me, my boyfriend and my family all went to Cardiff bay, I love it there because of the nice long walks along the bay. We went for a lovely walk yesterday, had a smoothie by the bay and then went for a meal in a indian restraunt it was a lovely day.
My outfit - I bought my dress from Asda a few months back, when I bought it it was £16 but i recently seen it in the sale for £5, its from the G21 section. My denim jacket is from New look, it was £20, my bag is from topshop for £12.
I like this outfit because the dress can be worn as a going out dress or be made to look a bit more casual by adding the denim jacket. Also it is quite slimming on, which is a bonus haha!

This is a picture of me and my friend Emily before we went out for a drink a few weeks ago. My dress and my cardy are both from primark, i know the dress was £10 but i bought the cardy last year and can't remember how much that was. I wore small black heels with this outfit and i felt comfortable wearing this out.

Last week my boyfriend took me out for food to frankie & bennys then we went for a walk. This photo is taken by the stream near my house, where we sat for a bit. I didnt want to dress up too much to go out because we went quite early in the day, so i couldn't have really worn heels. So i decided to wear this.
My outfit -  My tiger top and my jacket are both from new look. The top cost me £8 and the jacket cost £15. I wear the jacket with almost everything recently because it goes with lots and it is really comfy to wear. I like the top because it can also be dressed up, a few weeks ago i wore this top with jeans, a long black cardy and heels, it looked really nice. I bought my shorts from river island they were £20, at the moment i think they are in the sale for £15 on the website. I also wore my tights and vans with this, my vans cost £45. I love them! I want to buy another pair of vans maybe pink or red ones.

This is the outfit that I wore on the day of my birthday party. I picked ages trying to find a nice dress for my birthday, i ended up feeling really glad that i picked this one. I found this dress in new look for £28. I like how it is long in the back and shorter in the front. I wore this dress with my black wedge shoes on the day. The picture isn't very clear but on my wrist is some pearl bracelets which were £1 in primark.
IGNORE MY PATCHY TAN!

This photo was taken in dance practice, I wore this outfit because i left early that day to go up my boyfriends house. I liked this outfit because although it was casual I thought it looked nice, I like to look like i've made an effort to go out. My top and my shorts are both from new look, my top was £8 and my shorts were £20. I decided to wear my red converse with this outfit, my converse cost me
